Worship Committee at Central
The role of the Worship Committee is to:
- facilitate worship by assisting the minister in planning
and conducting the
weekly services.
- oversee all administrative matters pertaining to worship
- be responsible for administration of the sacraments:
1)
Baptism - assist the minister in conducting parenting seminars to
prepare parents for their role of Christian educators in the home and to
acquaint them with the support that our church provides for them.
2)
Holy Communion - oversee the preparation and serving of the
communion bread and wine
- plan special services such as Christmas and Easter
season services; youth
services; theme Sundays such as
Anniversary Sunday and Outreach
Sunday
- assist with other worship related fellowship
- decoration of the Sanctuary
- assist with music and choirs
